AUBURN, CA – Auburn police arrested two women who were injecting themselves with heroin inside a bathroom located at a restaurant off of Grass Valley Highway over the weekend.
According to Auburn Police, officers responded to the restaurant located on Grass Valley Highway after receiving reports that two women were possibly using drugs in the restaurants bathroom.
When officers arrived they found 25-year-old Whitney Gamboa Ross and 20-year-old Danielle Reann Vaughn, both of Auburn, in the process of injecting themselves with a syringe containing heroin. Officers also found prescription drugs on Ross that did not belong to her.

Ross was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, a prescription medication without a prescription, and drug paraphernalia. Danielle Vaughn was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia.
