’40-Year-Old Virgin’ Actor Who Stabbed Ex-Girlfriend 23 Times Granted Parole

A former actor best known for a small role in “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” was granted parole Tuesday after serving about nine years in prison for repeatedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend at her San Marcos home after finding her with another man.

Shelley Malil was convicted of premeditated attempted murder in 2010 and was sentenced to 12 years to life in prison for the 2008 attack on Kendra Beebe. (Get the full story at The Times of San Diego)
