7 suspected Santa Cruz drug dealers arrested

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. —Undercover Santa Cruz police officers conducted a sting operation against drug dealers who hang out along the San Lorenzo River levee selling methamphetamine and heroin.

The Santa Cruz Police Neighborhood Enforcement Team and Santa Cruz County Anti-Crime Team worked together for Friday’s bust.

“This joint operation resulted in the arrest of seven suspects for selling drugs to undercover officers, and the seizure of methamphetamine and heroin,” police said.

Six of the seven suspected drug dealers are homeless.

They were booked into Santa Cruz County Jail and identified as:

Jennelle Arnold, 44. Charges: possession of drugs for sale, and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Mack Palmer, 41. Charges: possession of drugs for sale, and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Seth Fusari, 35. Charges: possession of drugs for sale, conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of heroin.

Jean Perez, 34. Charges: possession of drugs for sale, and conspiracy to commit a crime.

David Morse, 56. Charges: possession of drugs for sale, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of heroin.

Kenneth Munn, 33. Charges: possession of drugs for sale.

Michael Farley, 40. Charges: possession of drugs for sale, and conspiracy to commit a crime.

The Neighborhood Enforcement Team plans to continue stepping up enforcement strategies targeting drug dealing and other crimes around the San Lorenzo River levee.
