SACRAMENTO, CA – The man responsible for the shooting death of a mother while she was asleep in her home with her three children has been arrested.
According to the Sacramento police, 34-year-old Dameshlo Green turned himself into the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department on his violation of a parole warrant. Sacramento homicide detectives responded to the county jail and interviewed Green. He was later arrested on homicide charges. Green is also the father of one of the three children.
Earlier today a South Sacramento woman was shot dead after a man, later identified as Green, barged into her home and opened fire while her and her three children were sleeping.
The victim, 31-year-old Tamisha Evette Ridge was pronounced dead at the scene.
According Sacramento Police, the shooting occurred in the 6800 block of Woodbine Avenue at approximately 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The victim’s mother had believed her daughters long-time boyfriend of 10 years was the man responsible for the shooting. It’s unclear if Green was who she was referring to.
Ridge was sleeping at the time with her three young children inside the home. The children were not harmed during the shooting.
