A former Utah schoolteacher accused of having sex with teenage students appeared in court Thursday afternoon.
Brianne Altice, 35, faces multiple felony charges after prosecutors claim she had sexual relationships with three former students.
Altice’s charges include: five counts of first-degree felony rape, two counts of first-degree felony forcible sodomy, three counts of second-degree felony forcible sex abuse, three counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and one count of dealing harmful material to a minor.
The third teenager in the case recently testified on Thursday.
“It’s ridiculous . . . she doesn’t deserve to be here,” the teen said, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. Altice’s relationship with that teen came ended this past September, after he was arrested and charged with third-degree felony witness tampering and retaliation against a witness.
Altice will be back in court again on Thursday for a scheduling hearing, the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
