Fresno man gets 175-year prison sentence for domestic violence

A Fresno man was sentenced to 175 years to life, plus 38 years in a state prison, for charges stemming from a domestic violence case, Fresno County District Attorney Elizabeth A. Egan said Tueseday.

James Crow, 43, was found guilty of several charges in January, including assault by means of force likely to produce bodily injury, assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats with a knife and dissuading a witness by force or threat, Egan said.

Crow was also found guilty of five additional charges of dissuading a witness made while awaiting a preliminary hearing and trial.
