SACRAMENTO, CA – Today police arrested a man in connection to the shooting death of a man in Sacramento that occurred on December 23 last year.
The Sacramento Police Department said today that 31-year-old Marcaill Wormley was arrested for the killing of 22-year-old Branden Maurice Anderson of Sacramento.
Police are still looking for witnesses to the shooting and are urging people to contact the Sacramento Police Department with any information they may have. The shooting occurred in the early morning hours of Monday, December 23, 2013. Officers responded to the 2500 block of Beaumont Street after receiving reports of shots fired.
When officers arrived they discovered Anderson with a gunshot wound in the front yard of a triplex. The Sacramento Fire Department responded and declared Anderson dead at the scene.
